My coworker has a little girl named Abby, who turned 2 this week. Abby invited Adeline to her birthday party, so of course we had to come with a present! I decided to make a memory game out of fabric.
I used fabrics from my stash and cut out 2″x 2″ squares. The felt is a lovely charcoal color, cut into 3″ x 3″ squares. The felt is sturdy in and of itself so there was no need for an extra backing. I chose a blanket stitch to frame the fabric on the felt. And of course, a little girl needs something to carry her game in, so I made a simple drawstring bag to go with it.
I hope she enjoys it as much as I do! Happy Birthday, Abby!
